[Milsurplus] AN/ARC-8 in Fifi

I've updated some web pages that have AN/ART-13 content to assist the 
Collins Radio Club in installing an operational AN/ARC-8 in the CAF's 
Fifi this coming year.  They may be of interest to the group.

be advisable to convert to RG-8 /RG-213 or other 50 ohm coax for the 
short run to the ART-13, as well as the routing of the original antenna 
wires under the radio operator's desk.  (There was some concern about 
interference when used in flight with modern comms equipment.):

3)  Final Report of "The operational suitability of radio equipment in 
the B-29 airplane, date 23 February 1945".  Warning - 46MB download!  
Interesting recommendations about relocation of the AN/ART-13, which was 
basically in the same low position that the BC-375 it replaced was 
mounted.  Can you say aching back?
